Pandit Anand Kumar C.’s influence on Shailendra Bhartti has been profound. From a young age, Shailendra was under the tutelage of his father, absorbing the nuances and intricacies of music. This early exposure and rigorous training laid the foundation for Shailendra’s own illustrious musical career. The values of discipline, dedication, and a deep love for music imparted by his father continue to guide Shailendra in his musical journey.

Shailendra Bhartti is a distinguished singer with a rich artistic temperament and melodious voice. It is only after going through many years of rigorous training under an able guru—to bring out a synthesis of voice modulation—that he has been able to achieve this range of immaculate vocal mastery. Hailing from a family with a background enriched with musical heritage, Shailendra started his tutelage at the early age of eight under his father and the well-known singer, Guru Pandit Anand Kumar C. Shailendra further trained and received early exposure to the intricacies of music under the able guidance of the distinguished Tabla and Vocal Maestro, (Late) Pt. Bansilalji and carried forward his taleem (learning) by the training gained from Late Pt. Murli Manohar Shuklaji, the doyen of the Kunwar Gosai Shyam Gharana.
Though Shailendra is most recognised for his specialisation in devotional music, he is also well known as a Ghazal singer, Bollywood artist, and a playback singer in the major languages of India (Hindi,Marathi, Gujarati, Punjabi, Tamil, Telgu, Bengali, Malayalam, Bhojpuri,Rajasthani Oriya,etc). To date, he has over more than 700 albums for listeners to enjoy. He is blessed to have been able to make audio CD/e-books such as the Shirdi Sai Baba Satcharitra Grant in Hindi, Gujarati,Rajasthani,Marathi and English. In addition to travelling through India to captivate audiences with his music, Shailendra has travelled across the world in many locations (US, UK, Singapore, Malaysia, Hong Kong, Australia, New Zealand,Japan,Dubai
etc.) and has also been able to perform in front of the President of India and for institutes for charitable/ fundraising programs. He has been lucky to be able to work with the “legends” of India, such as

- (late) Bharat Ratna Pt. Bhimsen Joshiji,
- Bharat Ratna Late Lata Mangeshkarji,
- Padmabhushan Asha Bhosleji etc.......

Shailendra bharti has sung with present generation singers as well, the list goes on. Shailendra can certainly be called a man of many moods. The enigma that his voice creates has stirred many listeners. He has the gifted touch in his voice, which effortlessly makes him glide from a semi-classical number to an Indie Pop one. His basic weapon is his deep enticing voice and with it he can conquer any horizon, ranging from classical music to light music which led him to work along Late Sitara Devi ji (Kathak Queen), Pandmabhushan Late Pt. Birju Maharaj ji and Sangeet Natak Academy Awardee Smt. Uma Dogra ji and many more.
